Anyone need/want midget, sprite parts?

I have a couple of 1098s needing rebuild. An extra rear end. Lots of lever shocks, body panels, window glass, top frames, a top, radiators, jacks, lights, and a lot of other stuff. Some of this I'll let go dirt cheap.

Where are you located? Any Mk1 Midget parts? Like windshield glass, chrome side strips? Maybe front fenders (wings)? Mine are fixable but a straighter set would be an easy button. Dented at the turn signal. How about a Mk1 steering wheel? Mine has a been cut to install a very bad kit on it. Chrome teeth grill from early Midgets? I have a 63 Midget I'm slowly working on getting back on the road. Have the 1098 but going with a 1275 out of the 72 parts car I have.

I have some. I may have an extra windshield. I have fenders but I'm not sure what years. I'm in Severna Park MD. Take enough stuff and I'll make you a really good deal.

You have the chrome strips? Usable? doesn't have to be perfect. If so and a windshield for a Mk1 Midget let me know what you'll take for them.

By chrome, do you mean the polished aluminum pieced that trim out the cockpit?

No, the strips that go down the side of the car and the hood (bonnet). Only on early Midgets, Sprites didn't have them. Not put on later Midgets after the Sprite was discontinued.

What ratio is the rear? Quarter eliptical or half?

Not to jack Mark's thread, but I, too, have a few Sprite/Midget parts, mostly from 1967 1/2 Sprite that I parted out, with some misc. parts from other years, like a Bugeye front bumper. I don't have that Midget Mk. I steering wheel but I do have one that I believe is from my 1966 Sprite. The spokes are thin metal rods. Decent usable condition but certainly not show quality. I don't have the other items you asked about. Tampa Bay Area, could bring stuff to $2016 Challenge next week.

I can't help on the side trim. Most of my stuff is from AH not MG. The midget was upmarket to the sprite, fof some reason.

I have radiators galore. I have side curtains but all need repair.

In reply to markwemple: Yeah, trim package differences only. No problem. What about a windshield? Believe Mk2 Sprite, right after the BE. The model that uses side curtains. I do have side curtains though the also need repair.

Only the 58 bugeye used a different windshield. After that all spridgets used the same as long as they had side curtains. I'm looking.

I dont think I have a huge need for any larger parts than that, but am interested to know what you have.

I have jacks and lost of wheels. No wiring or interior bits as those are needed for my 60. I have a single wire wheel if you're interested. Has some rust so dirt cheap.

Not on wire wheels, so no interest there.

Any brake parts?

Have plenty of standard wheels. Even have a set of Vega wheels (with center caps). I know I have one set of disk brakes. I'll check to see if I have a second. (I want to horde 1)
