I'm having to move soon unexpectedly and am forced to sell my 2 BMW 2002 projects. I have a 1971 and a 1976. Would prefer to sell together but would also split for a serious buyer. Have lots of pics I'm willing to send if you text me.
1971:
Inka Orange (really really sunfaded)
I bought it as a donor for my '76
The Good: It is a complete, running, roundie. It has a full interior and engine w/ AC. Moves under its own power but needs brake overhaul to drive around. Can send video of it running. Original M10 and 4-speed, it's pretty basic.
Bad: It's pretty rusty. Needs all new floor boards at a minimum, would be worth more as parts or a donor car. That being said, the strut towers and frame rails are okay and still solid. It needs a complete brake job as well from sitting forever.
Would sell for $1200 on its own.
1976:
Colorado Orange
I bought this car about a year ago with an M42 swapped in but done really poorly so as soon as the transmission grenaded itself, I decided to tear it down and go the m20 route. The car is currently a rolling chassis with no engine or transmission. It has the volvo big front brakes and e21 vented rotors and e21 drums in the rear as well as an LSD. Stripped interior other than front seats from a prelude which are surprisingly comfortable. I have Ireland Engineering motor mounts to mount an M20 so if you had a complete e30 donor it would be a really easy swap.
The body on this car had shoddy repair work done as well as a roundie rear taillight swap so it's no candidate for concours BUT it would make a killer auto-x or track rat with the time and TLC put in.
Would sell this one for $2000 on it's own
Have a set of e30 basketweaves with good tires that id throw on to either one for an additional $300.
For sale also is the original M42 with 130k miles with a coil on plug conversion and dinan chipped ECU, its out of a '93 E36 id sell both of those for $500
My number is 20five-four51-eight31one
