Most of you have seen my build thread:
I'll just put it out there- I will be at the Challenge, you can watch it perform, then make me an offer. I MAY consider coming home without it for the right amount of cash or an interesting trade.

My Acura is up for offers, cash or trade.
I really always claim that I have no desire for a wankel but I would trade with you just for E36 M3s and giggles. I haven't read your thread or wrote one for mine but we could talk in The parking lot...
I would also say that my Lexus LS400 is up for trade but I am 100 percent certain that you are getting the short end. If you are ok with that though...

Bought dirty and broken with slammed suspension, not so tasteful body kit, and "bad transmission". Cleaned it a bunch, detailed a bunch, replaced slowrider stuff with stock suspension, replaced pilot bearing which fixed the supposed transmission issues, built wicked splitter, added fat mustang takeoffs, wimped out on GIANT WING, has a million projects so may just challenge and sell.
In reply to MrJoshua:
Somebody's obsession with giant wings maketh me thinks he may be compensating.

In addition, spent a lot of effort de-ricifying. Trying to bring this one back from the dead. Replaced blown suspension with good stock setup. Added lightened flywheel and 6 puck clutch. New starter, plugs, coils, and wires. All fluids fresh. New disks and pads on all 4 corners. Opened up exhaust. Lightened by about 300 lbs, but still has full interior and working AC.
Probably gonna need a radiator and definitely tires.
It's not perfect. It's a good start to a track car, or a cheap DD. Looks great from 20', but paint job is questionable and has a few dings in it. iRRC, it has 137K on it.
The story is I have always loved the body styling of this car, and wanted one. Found one cheap, and bought it. It's much heavier than the cars I have been enjoying, so I am not as excited with driving it as I expected. I planned on putting an LS in this (and still may), but there are easier (and lighter) cars to do that to. I am not sure I want to go through what it will take to make this a V8 car.
To be clear, no one has made me an offer. I would consider a $2016 offer, but at that price it would have different wheels. I am still learning about this car and whether I like the driving experience or not. My son is going with me- the more we like the car, the less likely I am to sell it. Right now, I want something lighter. But he could talk me into keeping it.
$2016 is not very tempting to me. Maybe. I am prepared to let people drive it, and to come home without it. For the right person, and future Challenge effort, I'd probably take $2016.
For a bigger offer, I'd be more open to leaving it. For $3500 there's a pretty good chance I'd deal and leave the wheels with it. For $5K, it would definitely not come home with me, no matter how much my son cried!
Everyone here knows what I paid, and what I put in it. I've got nothing to hide.
This part might not be "technically" true

In reply to singleslammer:
i would t mind an LS400 as a motor donor, but I want a manual, and this car is probably a bit much to trade for a motor. I'd be smarter to buy your car outright and sell this separately.
In reply to SVreX:
Nah, it's an auto and is not really clean at this point... Well sorted and complete start for a racer...
I will still consider selling after the Challenge, but once it's sitting in my driveway we will start using it and want to keep it for a while. It will be just as easy to sell to someone on the RX8 board for a premium.
Plus, my motivation for selling cheap wanes a little. I am a big supporter of the Challenge and have sold hundreds of items under value to help enable Challengers. And selling it at the Challenge would be the easy button for me, and help solve a few issues I am having with Code Enforcement (too many cars).
All offers considered.

Sorry, minimum bid is $2016, unless the dollar is taped to the hood of a 2016 F-250 crew Cab Powerstroke 4x4 with Bose sound, 3" lift, and leather interior!
