NMNA. The "what car to drop a SBC into" thread got me wondering about how many Vegas were still around up here and this was the first hit on CL.

Cosworth Vega for sale. Runs and drives. Some body work needed but every thing else solid. Engine recently rebuilt. Hate to sell it but just don't have the time for it. Located in SE portland. Needs some love.
Wow. So glad I don't have any room or money.

That has to have some collector value if it was restored but the $2K seems high.

Glad it's far away. I like those and could definitely spend that right now. Berk... I'm about to spend more than that on a new bike frame...
I've seen much worse here in the midwest for far more money

I've had a Vega before.... rust was so bad that the trailing arm pulled free from the frame.......

A good friend rescued one from a barn this year. It was low-mileage, but had suffered an engine fire ~30 years ago and been parked. There was minimal paint damage to the hood/fender/nose, and just a bit of melted plastic & rubber under the hood. The body looked great otherwise from the outside. One of the trailing arms was about to fall out the bottom though, because it was so rusty underneath.
