Contact JThw8, and ask him where the engines for the Yugo from Hell went.
I sold about 5 complete engines to him with the car. At least 2 of them were good 1.5L from X1/9's.

Yugo and Fiat 128 engines are essentially the same, with some differences. The X transaxle case is specific to the X, so be careful there.
Seek out carpart.com, the xWeb Forums and MiraFiori.com for parts cars and parts.
There's been a few Yugo/Fiat owners here that might have some parts or know of someone else who does. Hopefully they'll chime in.
I have a complete 1300 Lampredi in my garage here in Vancouver, WA, that is taking up valuable space. It was running when I pulled it out of my '74 128 (swapped in a fuel injected 1500). Probably not worth shipping to Ohio, though.
Are you looking for a 1300 or 1500? Carb'd or injected?
XWeb will probably be your best bet.
pretty sure there is one for sale on xweb in Ontario for less than $500. That'd be a drive but close enough to go there and back in a day.
I already sold the block I had.

a spare, disassembled engine came with my 86 x1/9 Minerva, Ohio 44657 - call or text 330-868-8496
In reply to Robbie: You're right it is way out there , I'm going put Webers on what ever engine I get , Thanks for reply
I'm another guy in Washington that can probably scare up a motor for you, if you're interested in freight shipping...are you on the Xweb forums? That place is probably your best bet for finding a motor close to you. I know there are a bunch of exxies in the Ohio area.
You're in Ohio? Contact, I think their name is Midwest something or other. Based in Columbus, they have all SORTS of Fiat and X/19 stuff. I visited their complex a while back and they had five or six X1/9s on a huge trailer and a few K-series swaps inside, along with restored cars and more new old stock Fiat parts than you could shake a stick at.
Thanks chandler , I spoke to Matt at Midwest last week , I'm sure he'll become my next best friend for the next couple of years and will have my CC on file , lol . I found a 1.5 30 minutes from me in Ohio , I'll pick it up this weekend .

Just wait and I magically appear. Unfortunately car and parts are long since gone, and guy I sold them to has sold them on as well so I dont know if I could track them down. I'll put out a few feelers though. Its all probably still in NJ somewhere.
You'll need to log in to post.
