I've always wondered how one of those would do as a commuter. Performance wise, I'm not sure how that generation Korean car will hold up. I do know that generation Tib holds it's value far better than the previous generation did. Could be fun.

Daughter had one. Hers was a 5-speed though. I took it cross country a few times and she thrashed it. Typical Hyundai reliability and issues. Hyundai keeps cost down by keeping to base stuff. Always thought her Tib would be a decent sports car if it had a limited slip, torque steer was very prevalent. She says the only reason she got rid of it was to get a vehicle with room for baby stuff.

Buddy of mine had one several years ago.  Apparently they had a LOT of flywheel problems and after he had to pay for the third one he dumped it.

Close, more like the fuel economy of a Tahoe and the performance of an automatic, 4cyl Camry with a dead miss. The Delta V6 is a turd. The 6spd is decent, but the clutch is crap. As a commuter a 2.0L 5-spd would be so much better for everything.
