Been casually looking lately, but this one turned my head.
300 straight six 4 speed. Probably go over $2008, I believe this is a relisting.

Another cool van, price seems way high though

My brother-in-law has a similar van with the 5.0L V8 but still with the 4 speed tranny. It was fun to drive, or as fun as a stock van car get anyway.
They are race and sought after by some Ford van fans. I'd grab it if I had the room and time to mod it further.
I'd drop in a 5.8L and a later model 5 speed.
Seriously considering this van.
1995 with 95,000 miles on it. Looks clean, slightly apprehensive about a 4.3; I've heard of coolant issues and the fuel lines run between the block and intake manifold?
Buy it Now $3400. What do you think.
BTW, anyone want to drive from Nebraska to New York?
pretty but not a towing truck, just 'cause it can is the wrong answer. that beautiful blue Savannah Van a few months back was best deal.

It really was, and it was mine.

Low miles and whatnot but its a minivan, not a fullsized van and cant do a lot of big boy van stuff.
Whats the intended purpose here?
It's not often I tow a car trailer, hoping to stop all together. Pretty much a second car; the usual errand running, occasional lumber yard runs, trips back and forth to the airport 2 miles away. I have a 1990 Chevy Scottsdale with a big fiberglass tonneau, sometimes a PITA.
the down side to the astro van is , it gets the same mpg as a full size but doesn't do as much. that said i do like them, i would go full size.

Sounds like a minivan is exactly what you need if you stop towing.
In reply to 914Driver :
It doesnt sound like you need a fullsized van then so the astro could be a good bet. Ive ran 3 vans for concrete work for many years and one of them is an Aerostar, mini vans can be very useful
We used to tow the rally car with an Astro. Worked fine. This van used to be part of the grm triumvirate. Miata/p71(e30)/Astro.
Silly how how we all forget.
