A buddy and I made a questionable decision and bought a '76 Pickup on impulse this past weekend. After driving it 60miles home at 80+mph (it was getting dark and we were in a rush), the transmission started making lots of noise, so we are in need of an affordable replacement. 20R engine, looking for a 5spd from either a 20R or 22R, must be located around Northern Colorado.
If you dont find something and want to make a little road trip to Los Angeles, I am pulling my truck apart next weekend. Its a 85 SR5 ex cab. I will be getting rid of everything but the bare cab and bed. Its a 22re, 5 speed. Complete rolling chassis, engine and trans with the complete wiring harness.
