Selling my open trailer, havent used it in 10 months and i’m getting away from buying a bunch of junk I don’t need, and my buddy has a rollback so it’s easier to send him if i do.
it’s a 1997 load trail 18’ dovetail. It currently has a longer dovetail installed made from a flatbed of a truck, and i’ve creatively carried 2 cars 1000 miles on it. Approximate total length is now 21’6” on bed, but the extra can be removed pretty easily with a grinder and reverted back to 18’.
superwinch s4500 is close to 20 years old but still works awesome. Has about 15’ remote cord so you can stand well out of way of cable.
About 3 years ago i cut off all the suspension and replaced it because the spring mounts were thin from rust. Everything between frame and axles was replaced including 4 new 5000# springs. Frame is super solid. Painted with rustoleum brush on at same time and replaced both fenders, now showing age. Last year i replaced most of the wiring and installed new LeD fender markers and led rear clearance lights. Has decent tires and a couple spares, bolt pattern is 5x5 so it has chevy truck wheels on it with proper lugnuts that accept the chevy center caps.
the brakes will likely need replaced, it has them on one axle and on a long trip the left side started dragging so we snipped the wire to get home and never diagnosed it. Jack is a bit on the floppy side on its mount plate but works. Deck still solid. 2” coupler.
All in all it’s a solid quality car hauler that costs me more in registration and maintenance than it costs my buddy to run and pick up one or two cars a year on his rollback, and I don’t need it for racing. I have the MSO, and have owned it for about 15 years and done my best to maintain it. In picture tire is flat, i’ll dismount that and repair/replace as needed before sale. Impala SS can be included in sale for $1200 more as a roller.
