Mk 2 Golf Automatic NMSA

My buddy is having some problems locally with the cars being stored in his yard. As this one is the least personal and best running, he's putting it up for sale.

I forget the exact year, but it's a second gen Golf 1.8 8valve with the automatic. Raceland springs, BMW bottle cap wheels unless I go swap them for my spare set.

It runs and drive, tranny shifts fairly well, it's a little finicky but a good runner. Needs wheel cylinders in the back for sure, and has some floor pan rust that would need taken care of, but for a challenge car, who knows.

Asking a grand, but will take 800.

Car is located outside Jeannette, PA. Minutes from the Irwin turnpike interchange.

If he wins up hiding it at my house, it's yours. Seriously, he's a shiny happy person. It's got a bad throw out bearing and bent clutch fork, he has a replacement but for some reason, just hasn't done the work. Unfortunately he loves that car more than his family and won't let it go. His thought is sell the greenish one and use that money to get the red on the road
