You lack commitment

I second that.. Go get it Pete
The ZF6 is nearly worth the asking price. Very save-able car for a cheap autox weapon or weekend toy. The 89 Z51 is still a formidable competitor on a short course, is maybe the apex year for C4 handling according to many.

I'm pretty sure I've told you that you can borrow my truck & trailer anytime.
There's gotta be a $200 or less truck body hanging around somewhere close...
Who was asking how to make a c10 handle? Just put it on a c4.
yo Pete, I'll split it with you. but we likely want the same parts. All i really want is the rear end, I think. Or you buy it I'll bring it to you and swap that rear with mine!
In reply to GTXVette:
While the rear end would be nice for future plans, I'm more interested in the seemingly unbroken windshield & targa top, plus possibly the steering wheel, dash, window mechanisms, and seat sliders - if any of those are good.

so you get all that crap plus the engine for backup, gtx gets the dana 44 rear end, sell the rest of the panels and suspension bits, you send me the transmission and everybody's happy.

Aren't you passing through ATL again soon?
I have neither the space or $1500 for the car(though Aeromoto probably wouldn't mind if it showed up at his shop), but I have cash for parts if someone else gets it.

For nefarious purposes like ours? Certainly! To polish the fenders with your local CCA chapter, it's not really worth the effort or expense though.
Edit: Keep in mind, for the most part the mechanical bits are dirt-cheap. It's the interior, dash & trim bits that tend to add up.
Sadly I just plain threw away most of what you want,Folks here will sell stuff cheap enough but don't seem to have any notion to trade.so unless I sell a couple things particular to 84 cars I'm at my limit trying to make budget.
In reply to GTXVette:
That's just my luck! And also my same situation, there's no way I could buy this and stay under Challenge budget after recoup.
I emailed him 1 hour after it was listed and again the next day.
never received a response...Otherwise pretty sure I'd be picking it up this weekend..
