No idea, but a RWD/5-speed car that seems to be in decent shape for $1200 would be fun for rallyx, if it actually existed around here...
Just over 100 HP and almost 2600 lb. Figure out how to double the horsepower and you would have some fun. Or, find 600 lb to remove.
Those are fun. Though every single one I've ever seen had doriftbro camber even in Stock form. The rear suspension was a mess and wore out fast.
Let's be real here. That's a Nissan. It has parts interchangeability out the wazoo! Ca18det pumps out 175hp stock, turn up the boost and you've got your 200hp. The rear suspension is not a mess, it's a hodgepodge. Came with IRS and SRA. 240sx parts fit with little modifications.
Those were fun to drive because the horrible rear suspension geometry meant the rear suspension sucked up into the wheelwells if you so much as nudged the throttle. If the shocks were at all worn, you could bounce the back end up and down like you had hydraulics.
I would imagine that this made them incredibly annoying to drive "fast" unless you stiffened up the suspension at both ends until it didn't move.

Every S12 that I've seen was VG engined. I guess some of them had CA18E engines too. That might mean a CA18DET could be a drop in, but I don't trust Nissan to not change a bunch of hardpoints anymore.
Ok that is a ca20e powered s12, only vg powered ones were the 86 and up to 88 se models For the most part, must 240 stuff will fit with little modification,ka sr vg r20/25/26 pretty much anything under the moon
the rear suspension is z31 300zx yeah it's got issues but they can be banged out. If sra even better, but those were only early 84 models(which this could be) Front can be swapped to s13/14 stuff There is literally tons of possibility and potential with this platform... if I had the cash id go buy if it ran well
Hit me up if you want any info on s12s as I've had quite a few, or hit up www.club-s12.org for support too

Sure did. One of my co-workers drove one.
