4bbl Does that mean powah? I have no idea.
Decent interior.
31 bids and $760 already means there's most likely a lot of out of town interest and it should go much higher.

Oh man I want that! To bad ii've got a shut down at work on the 10-14th. Anyone live nearby and work for a tow company?
Can't remember too exactly but I think it was maybe already in my name when the tow-truck driver picked up the SVT for me the next week if not then it was a simple normal trip to the DMV for a new title.
I would bet the derby guys will still take that thing higher. Rollers are about a grand, and that motor and trans are easily $800 if they can get it to run.
On the plus side, the fact that someone is asking about them cutting the padlock on the hood, and their refusal, will slow down a couple bidders.
There was one similar to this with like 60k miles - and the same 4 barrel 440 - locally that sat in a parking lot for over a year priced at $3700. I was surprised. If I'd had the dough I'd have bought it and sat on it 4 or 5 years and made some coin. It would be a fun barge to sail.

Looks like someone badgered them into cutting the padlock. Pics and video.

That's hilarious. I had just read the question and answer when posted that. I wonder if they are spying on this forum.
Do the 'Moroso' valve covers potentially hide more powah? I'm out for sure as I got the new apt search blues plus at least a doubling of my rent. Up to close to $1,700 with fees. Still just under $2018.
They search them for guns and drugs...they don't mention dead bodies.
Single master cylinder, probably still points, 4 wheel drum brakes. And some questionable-looking underhood "work". Yeah, I'm out.
I wonder of the guy who it got towed from is bidding on it?
I don't have time to read all the fine print in that link but do the cars on govdeals come from any place else besides the government? If this car was taken in by say a federal law enforcement agency via a seizure for example, the trunk most certainly should have been searched well before the vehicle was ever cleared to go to auction.

Captain Obvious here, but if this car was taken in by say a federal law enforcement agency via a seizure for example, the trunk most certainly should have been searched well before the vehicle was ever cleared to go to auction.

But you had time to double-post, bruh!
“Description:
1. This vehicle was towed by the city due to parking or registration violations.”
I really like it, and it reminds me of a '66 300 4 door hardtop I had as a daily driver back in the 90s. But there is a rough but solid '66 Newport convertible calling my name out in the Rockies that I should buy before I even think of this one.
