2005 astro. 230k i believe. Belongs to my parents, tires >2 years old, all brakes replaced within last 20k. Has bumps and scratches but still cleans up nice. On 3rd paint job, originally ugly pewter gold color. Random electrical drain led dad to put on a kill switch, and he drove it like that for a year. They bought a 2017 caravan and he just fixed his roadmonster and the astro is the odd man out. Trans has reman stickers on it and 4.3 runs good. Before they got it a few years ago it was in Utah it’s entire life, and prior to seeing any salt he sprayed everywhere with fluid film so it’s silly clean for being in NE ohio. Located in medina ohio 44256. Plates expired at end of December and were not renewed so it’s been off the road for just over a month. They put around 40k on it and my dad is meticulous with maintenance
$750/obo
Rwd. Dad doesn’t do awd, “adds too much to break” he says.
They paid $5800 for it a few years ago, i felt that was high but he’s pay a premium for no rust guy and mom throws money at things to get him to stop trolling Craigslist for $800 pickups.
The only rust i’ve ever noticed is on the dutch door, inside on the seam below the glass.
Has a class 3 hitch and wiring too. Mom wants to sell it whole, dad’s got dirty thoughts about the disc brake rear axle. I haven’t reminded him yet that the driveline is offset 3” to the passenger side yet.
Is that a G80 differential? How are the rear Dutch doors/hatch? This could help me with my v8 Safari. That you sold me the conversion mounts for!

Your dad is cool.
Agreed. We pulled his 48 Chevy fleetline out of the garage yesterday to make some countertops for my customer. We’re putting a 292 into it when it gets warm out.
Pretty sure it’s a pegleg but i will check the rpo codes. I’ve only driven it a handful of times when my avalanche was broken. Never tried to do a burnout with it.
I don’t see why it wouldn’t make it anywhere. It’s been locally driven but the tires and everything are very good, shifts great, and it runs good.
