Oof. I'm nearby and need something to commute in. This is tempting.. didn't realize that these were so bad on gas, though!
And a carb swap on top of that. If you watch your right foot you might get your mileage all the way up to 15!
We had one of these years ago and got low 20s on the highway. If I remember correctly, around 15 around town.
Funny, that's a five minute walk from my house. I've seen it parked there quite a bit, must work in that plaza. It's rough paint-wise, haven't looked too closely at it. I can take a drive over any time if someone is interested.
