mine, affiliated, etc...

1990 C1500 reg cab short bed 2wd

originally texas truck, needs small cab corner patch on left side(new corner included)

all new brake hydraulics when i got truck(m/c, prop, hoses, calipers, wheel cyls).

chrome 454SS 15x7 wheels

454/nv3500. 111k mile 1995 tbi 454 from a suburban. brand new clutch, flywheel, exhaust manifolds, stainless Y pipe, radiator hoses, belt, valve cover gaskets were used for the swap, which i did 2 years ago. it has only seen salt a handful of times, i have had the truck off the road every winter since i got it except for a couple mid winter scrap runs to empty the bed. i used a 1990 454 truck for correct air cleaner, radiator, shroud, etc to make it look as factory as possible.

issues: cracked windshield, needs paint, bodywork to fix passenger side b pillar where truck was hit in door. pillar needs to come out about 1/2" and forward about 1/4" at the lower body line. i replaced door with a rust free one. bed needs some repair below taillights(dents not rust). wrong column installed(comes with correct 1990 manual trans column and keys). rear axle has a bearing going bad, it's howling. could use seat. odometer bad(have good cluster from another 1990 manual trans truck with mileage that is within 2k of engine's miles)

extras: new front fenders, rear roll pan in boxes. sliding rear window. front drop spindles. rear drop springs and shackles. 9" ford disc brake 5x5 bolt circle rear axle from a lincoln. balance of tan interior from parts truck(carpet, all plastics, some dash parts). i already put in the seatbelts, seat(which i ruined by letting a battery leak on it), and door panels.

starts every time, problem is i've driven it probably 3 times this year. i've almost always got kids with me, and i can't take them both in it because of car seats and manual trans.

$2017 absolutely firm. valley city ohio 44280.

nobody wants a badass truck?

for 2017 total i'll mount 4 firehawks in the correct 454SS size of 275/60-15. 2 have 1k miles and 2 are still stickered. will also include a set of 15x8 truck rally wheels with center caps, and a new black grill(correct for 454SS) and a NOS 454SS black/red bowtie.

most recent - wearing borrowed shoes off my impala ss.

this is the RH b pillar/cab corner that needs pulled forward. from the look of the door the truck took a relatively light hit on an angle like someone was pulling into a parking lot and got too close. i replaced the door. also put mirrors off the same 94 suburban that donated the front end parts. driver glass needs replaced, most of it is still there and it works but in the interest of full disclosure it's broken.

this is with the 454SS wheels that will be on it, clean and in the perfect light. you can see the small half dollar hole in the cab corner. still have the wood sides, i took them off a couple months ago to make it easier to put the new back window in.

and 454 under the hood.

it's a project, but it's a project that runs and drives and stops, has lots of brand new parts installed and with it, is a blast to row through the gears, and can be driven while you do things one at a time to take it the rest of the way.

initially listed it because i was bored, then didn't bump because i decided to keep it, but last night i came across a car that i've been after for a very long time. it almost makes me want to sell other stuff too.

Much want but also much broke. I had one for my first tow truck in black but with an auto and the rear end jacked up higher.

glws. Strangely, these are my 2nd favorite GM trucks next to late 60s c10s.

EDIT: also, looks amazing with those SS wheels.

If you guys aren't careful it's getting de-modded back to the original $600 purchase price, i've got almost $200 in recoup toward that, and slap in a nitrous fed 6.0, 4l80e, 9", the drop parts, hoosiers, insanely huge sway bars, and have my wife destroy the challenge pickup truck class.
