Long shot here, since most of them have probably been scrapped and melted down, but I am hoping to find a set (or two) of 15" 5 x 130 wheels. Seems like they were most common on Porsche 944s, but were available on a few other cars, so I'm not too picky here. I need them to be straight, but they don't have to be pretty.
Best case, if you are somewhere near SW Ohio I can come get them, but depending on price, I may be willing to pay to have them shipped, too. Should also be able to pick them up at the challenge this fall.
Early or late offset? I have the phone dials that came on my car sitting on a shelf, they are in good shape. Mine are early offset.

Hmm, on a guess after some quick googling, I would say probably early offset, but I had better go do a little research. They’re going on a Super Beetle that will eventually be getting a 944 brake swap, from an 83 944.
Strike that. Late offset push the wheel in. I'd try a cheap set of cookie cutters and see how they fit. All cookies are early offset. Many bugs run fake Fuchs and all the ones I saw were early

Sounds like early is what I’m looking for. Fuchs (or copies) would be nice, but a little much for a rallycross car.
and do you want 15 inch or 16 inch ?
are you running stock discs and calipers or do you need more clearance than stock ?
In reply to californiamilleghia :
I definitely want 15” wheels - much easier to find rally car take offs in that size, plus I’d be worried about fender clearance with anything larger.
As far as I know, all the brake parts I have are stock off a 1983 944.

Looks like this guy may have a set of phone dials left:

Ooh, might have to get in touch with them if I can figure out when I could get up there. Thanks,
My dad has been racing 944s for a long time and has a whole barn full of parts. I'd wager he has a set of early-offsets in there.
He lives in Maryland, but my little sister goes to Grove City College north of Pittsburgh (relatively close to you?) so it wouldn't be impossible to relay them to you in a couple months if you don't have any luck by then.
I just texted him and he says he'll check to see if he has a set of early-offsets tonight.
In reply to Ed Higginbotham :
Thanks! Even if I get one set, having a spare set for road tires will be handy. I know a few people in Pittsburgh, so I could probably convince someone to store them for me for a bit.
I have some Gottis but they wouldn’t be cheap.....

I have to go to MD for challenge car parts prior to October
Just heard back from my dad. He doesn't have any early-offset wheels. Apparently he got rid of them a while ago. All his cars run late-offsets. Sorry to get your hopes up.
In reply to Ed Higginbotham :
Thanks for checking. Looks like it won’t be as hard to find them as I had originally thought, at least
Phone dials on super beetle.
early offset porsche phone dials (ET 23 offset ) came in 15x6, 15x7, 16x6 and 16x7. Late offset phone dials were also made (et52-ish)
Should be able to pick up set of 4 for well under $200. less if scuffed
I have a set of Enkeis in 15x7 (et15 offset) that I may not need...let you know down road
In reply to Ovid_and_Flem :
Those phone dials just do not look right. Fortunately, they’ll be used for rallycross, so looks won’t be too important. Please do let me know if you decide to get rid of the Enkeis, they’d look great for road use.
In reply to eastsideTim :
PD painted white
or black
In reply to Ovid_and_Flem :
I suspect they’ll look better painted white. They look decent on the 911. If they don’t, some black plastidip should make them a bit more invisible.

Well..with Pete gossett's help I went totally outside the box. The pictures do not show the true color. They look more Brown but in reality they are a metallic bronze. Beginning to grow on me. But then again, I always was a little weird. LOL
This is going to be a unique build stylistictly speaking
