APEX!
Hey racers, here's a great video showing the Apex in action. Filmed in a Porsche GT-3 Cup car at Barber Motorsports park.
It shows how the Apex gives instant feed back to the driver as he's apexing the corners. The goal being, to extinguish the red LED's and have all green LED's showing across the Apex. When the driver achieves this, he is driving the car to it's full potential at that point!
Key here is INSTANT FEED BACK. No graphs to analyze, no charts, and no cluttered screens. Just a quick glance lets the driver know how he or she is doing.
But remember, the Apex also logs data! That's right. Your laps and times are logged in an easy to read format to look over later. Cool. And you can also stream the lap too. Hey, for $449 plus shipping, it's a great stand alone device or addition to your existing onboard data systems.

The driver of this car, Jake Eidson is currently leading the points in the IMSA GT3 Cup series. Jake got the most out of some fairly worn tires on this lap, but even so, notice that there was a little extra grip available on entry to turn 2 (next lap he could use a little less brake pressure), and in the tricky turn 15-16 complex. Jake absolutely mastered turn 5 (Charlotte's web) on this lap according to his APEX LED display, and turned a 1:26.9 lap time!
