We're picking up a VP Racing Fuels distributor account, both to sell to local racers in the Atlanta area (sorry, it takes a lot of paperwork and expense to ship - it's better bought locally) and so we can have a stash for our dyno R&D at a lower price. We're trying to figure out what fuels are must-haves that we need to keep in stock. For those of you who run race gas, what do you usually run?
Shell URT.
If VP: C10, C16, Q16, & NOS+.
Motorsports Ranch in Cresson has pumps for StreetBlaze, MS109 and C16. I use the 109 for my track car. The latter two are also what's available (for more money) at the local speed shop.
Matt, I still need to do an initial order for my VP account, so I'll just steal your thread.
The guy in the shop behind mine runs a shifter cart and I think he said they run C12. I'm looking to bring in the storage fuel in the fall (C9). I also have one fire company asking me about their small engine fuels.
One customer likes to keep some C16 on hand for his Hemi car too.
Rob - might as well compare notes on this one. We've had a few requests for C85 as well, and we're planning to keep methanol on hand (for our own projects if nothing else; we plan on using some methanol to run our Bonneville car in the "fuel" classes), but that's about the extent of the fuels we're considering that this thread hasn't covered.
