Showed up at an auction looking forlorn, so we brought it home. Not running at present but will roll over easy. No spark. Can anyone point me in a direction for reliable information on this model, or should I start looking for a cheap Maserati?

Show me pictures! Inevitably I'll try to buy it from you or something stupid like that.

Here's a good start: http://www.heckflosse.nl/

I have a 1967 230 and 1964 190D...neither of which are currently running.

Ask Tim, he knows these things.

Glanced at it today, ballast resistor and dual points. Rabbit hole curioser.

I'm pretty sure a cheap Maserati would have been a better idea, some of the parts for those are $$$$$$$. If its in reasonably good shape the expensive stuff may be fine though. Does it have the air suspension too?

File the points and crank it over, it will fire even if they're a bit out of whack..

Yup air suspension and fuel injection. Thanks for the tip on the points. Haven't dug in to deep yet, trying to do some research first.
