Slippery made the wrench, and you might be right. Clearly I need to think about this before I move ahead.

Don't be afraid to do some branding. I created this a few years ago for a summer event I put together, and the rewards (not really financial) from the event and the brand have been ongoing.

And I can recommend StickerMule for stickers, they were basically perfect.

This thread has the stirrings of something epic...

Count me in!

P.S.- I'm totally co-opting "think twice, wrench once" into my speeches at work. If you make T-shirts, I'm buying one to help fund the COE.

I can 2nd the recommendation for StickerMule. We used them last year to print stickers of our monogram for wedding gifts. Easy, cheap and most importantly, they were right.

If you're driving around the middle part of the country, keep your eyes peeled, this is happening.

Id buy a shirt if theres a way to pay aside from paypal, just to help keep you wrenching. I enjoy your writing style and storylines. I followed the grosh thread all the way and i dont even care for carpentry/household work.

MazD, where are you gonna put IHCOE at the compound? Possibly adding on to the grosh?

My vote is for somewhere where it will be easy to back in a trailer.

Between Omaha and Kansas City now.

Yea what oldopelguy said.....like being able to come in head first and drive on the freshly mown south pasture.....dropping IHCOE off and then headin' out with nary a look in the side mirrors

I'm just worried about giving it a push off the trailer and with no brakes how far it's going to roll.

We'll winch it off. Or since I don't have a winch, we'll improvise. What could go wrong?

Mazduece, I saw you heading south between Brookings and Sioux falls a little after 4 today. Noticed the International right away. It really stands out!

That's actually oldopelguy dragging the COE down to me in Texas. My little old half ton truck could barely handle the Airstream with melting the transmission.

Jam it in a high gear, use the clutch to stop?

The driveshaft isn't installed. Even if it was the clutch hydraulics are on the dry side of functional. I've got a plan.

Updates from the road. Foggy, and the cabover is winking. It's going to be a long day of waiting.

I've tied vehicles to trees before and pulled the trailer out from beneath them.

Yes! I'm so excited!

Stopped by Harbor Freight and picked up a couple more tie downs and two wheel chocks. Add that to the tow strap, the strap hand winch thing, a pile of old climbing rope and my truck for pulling, and I think we've got this.
