Yes, pretty much.
And complacency. It currently works well enough. So doing more iS lower on the list.
This pretty much sums up where I at at with the Molvo. Leave it alone and just enjoy the car, its working well enough. So this year I am doing just that.
But in the back of my mind I know better.
Time to enjoy the ride. Good luck on the new gig. Sometimes good enough is, well, good enough. (For now :) Hope Friday brings a nice cleanse of the mind towards starting a new job. Safe and happy travels.

Details Take forever..
I was enjoying my car this summer til it broke beyond drivability, now it's back togther to do stuff like this again..
That was in Missouri In June - and I don't live close to Missouri or you, but I made it there.. Enjoy what 'cha have and good luck with the new job!
I'm in the same place with the TR6. It's mechanically done, but the tuning could use some sharpening. There's probably more power on the table, it runs rich when hot, the altitude adjustment is a guess, etc. But for now, it runs well enough and is more fun to drive than work on. So it gets driven.
100 miles today. Fantastic car. Need to build an ac idle up solenoid.
At oakboro cruise night now with dad. Munchkin rode with him.
Really like the red and those wheels. Freiburger's 12 second Duster/Dart (I don't remember which it was) 440 swap in Car Craft many years ago was one of the cars that made me think I could build a hot rod..

Hopefully you did!
And thanks. Its what was in my head in high school.
your dads vette is spicy!

327, canfield heads, solid cam. Edelbrock intake from Patrick, 650 holly brawler. 4 speed, 4.11 gears, and the old torque thrust 14s from my 64 el camino.
Its a really neat car.

I gotta add, a couple of neat cars. Happy to see you and Dad out cruising.
drivers side balljoint replaced. Next is relube caliper sliders, flush brake fluid, new sway bar endlinks, wideband install, fix the blown up power steering pump, clutch linkage lube and adjustment, etc.
I still love this car.
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael :
So do I.
replacing the power steering pump that popped. I forgot how much anything dealing with the accessory drive on the car sucked, and its most likely a multi day, many cut job.
i also forgot that the pump and power steering pressure hose are nonstandard. Dammit.
What fans and shroud do you have? It looks like a perfect OEM replacement for the belt driven fan.
In reply to maschinenbau :
Theyre a slightly cut set from a mid 90s dodge intrepid if i remember correctly. Along with a universal afco crossflow radiator.
So, due to previous me using custom professional fabricated parts to solve a problem, current me is unable to hook up power steering. So ill wade into parts catalog and adapters.
Just have to say, previous me was a dick to current me.
Also, my sway bar bushings were bad....
Now to install the wideband and rweak the shifter.
I hate when old me puts the screws to current me. Never a good feeling. Glad to see this car getting some love
shifter fixed, wideband wiring run. Need to finish it, but this stopped being fun for the day. Time to clean up.
19 degrees and washing power steering fluid off the underside SUCKS
it's a beautiful morning. Dad and i took the duster to breakfast before the sandblaster comes
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael :
Welcome back to the Midwest with the cold weather power washing
