IH Guys say the rear dumps may hit the trans mount. Grrrrrr
In reply to java230 :
The rear dump manifolds were for the 74-75 Travelalls that had the motor set farther back... I'd figured that would make clearance easier, not harder. Hmm...
In reply to Recon1342 :
I'm not sure.... I did crawl way further back. I think it's doable. Just gonna be funky.

Looking good!
I'll be very happy when my Power Wagon reaches this stage of doneness...
I love efi. Sitting for 6 months and it. Just starts up.
But. I am also wondering if anyone wants to take this on to finish. It needs exhaust (I have most of the parts), fuel filler, glass installed (I have it all), repair air line (not having open headers will fix the melting issue), interior and dash.
I'm realizing I need a lift to do exhaust and don't want to pay someone 2k+ to do it. And I have my eye on a ctsv....
Oh man, I've wanted a Travelall done exactly like this for a while but it looks like we are on exactly opposite sides of the country

There is always a way to add AC. I am in the middle of doing a self designed AC for the Molvo and once you get your head wrapped around the subject matter it is not too intimidating. Vintage air can be your friend.
In this case I would design the system around GM pickup truck parts since they can be had cheap and they are pretty much scaled to this project. The evaporator that goes inside is the fussy to fit bit. Use EZ clip hose fittings so that you can make your own lines with no need of a fancy hose crimper and take them apart to re-use when you mess up!

No AC currently, but was a factory (r12?) car. Compressor is in egine bay with no belt. condenser was removed (i have it). lines are tbd. Never tested, no pressure in the system when I got it, it was all disconnected.
It has an AC "box" similar to vintage air, but uses factory fan.
FWIW, all ducts under the dash need to be repalced I have not heared blower fan run. But its old school simple.
I've installed a couple Vintage Air systems. Even crammed one into a 34 Ford.
The only thing I didn't like was they only operate on recirculate.

Friend of a friend. Price was right. 95k miles. Needs a rear diff and REALLY good detail.
Nice! The coupes look so aggressive. Don't think you can lower it too much with that driveway though!
In reply to iansane :
Well luckily that is the seller's driveway, but mine isn't that much better.
I'm really excited. Need to get the diff done ASAP though
6sp car? Plans for it? I know even thought my SS was boosted it wasn't long before I was shopping smaller pullies and such.
In reply to iansane :
Auto unfortunately.
I need to get it in and looked at before I do much in the way of mods. There is a little blowby and it burns 1/2 qt every 6 months ish?
I have looked at pulley, injectors and a larger heat Exchanger...... still need to do more research, the car kind of fell in my lap

It's just a startup video. If the right offer came along it probably could be for sale. The RV definitely will be shortly,
