Just got my clip in the mail yesterday from Jim (jimbob_racing), and it's funny how something this simple can have me itching to get this thing on the road again! Stay tuned!

Nothing at the moment. I had family in town, and I've just been busy. I think I've found a place that will clean the tank for $125 (cheapest I've found, and came recommended from Abacus Racing, a well respected performance shop in VA Beach). Now I just need to get the tank back out and take it to them! Hopefully Wednesday will be tank removal day...
Tank is out, just need to get it to Culpepper Radiator this weekend, hopefully. Things are back on track!
Oh, and I put the AFM clip on...thanks again jimbob_racing!
Fuel tank is at Culpepper...hopefully I'll hear from them Monday or Tuesday! My brother just bought an AW11 MR2, so I'm itching to get this thing going so we can have some fun together in our vintage J-tin!
I finally got some time to go pick up the radiator, and it looks great! Not only did they clean the inside, but the outside looks as fresh and glossy black as a new tank! It's good it's hidden underneath because it doesn't match the rest of the car. Hopefully it will go in tomorrow!
Oh, and I picked up a mirror today too from a guy on Craigslist...I just need to swap the glass from my broken mirror to the new mirror...we'll see how that goes.
"New" tank is in! I had to replace a return hose that I found was leaking too, but then the test drive was great! That's the first test drive I've had that didn't involve me pushing it home!! Now I need to install my mirror, do some MAJOR cleaning, and start driving it more so I can work out the kinks that I'm sure will come up. I also want to put in a new heater core so I have heat for the winter (it's currently bypassed so my assumption is that it's leaking--a common problem on these old things).
I also think I need a wiper switch, and I need a battery tie down, and possibly a brake booster (I hear some air leaking when braking and the power assist isn't fully there).
Yahoo! Things are looking up!
Just drove to the gas station and all around my area...put about 9 miles on it...drove great! It's a beautiful, warm, sun-shiny day here...the perfect day to drive my classic to work for the first time! Oh, and I figured that since it's drivable now it was time to put a GRM sticker on it.
Pics to come...
Drove it more this morning...have about 30 miles on it so far, and it's running well! I think I'm definitely due for fresh trans and rear-end oil, and some other tune up items would help I'm sure. Hopefully after Thanksgiving I will have time to pull the seats out, vacuum, wipe all the dirt from the dash, vacuum out the doors, re-install the door panels, and put on the mirror. All of that will help in a BIG way. Man this is fun and I'm so glad I didn't sell it!

Sure is! It's long overdue for this car...but considering the motor was locked up when I got it, and now it's running and driving on public roads, that's pretty good! A thorough cleaning and a heater core will make it a much more enjoyable experience.
Car is sold and delivered! Thanks to all of you for your help as I got this beast running! I wish I could have kept it and got her back to her former glory, but no garage to store and work on her is not fun. Time to be realistic and get a regular daily driver.
The wheels will hopefully be going to jimbob_racing soon!
