I have no idea, but I wonder if that funky manifold design that you were running could have caused a little AF variance. If cylinder 1 was running leaner than the others, I imagine that could have done the trick.
This was a great read! Have to look into the H25A Camshafts for my build. Going to take inspiration from your dual throttle body setup & cooling as well.
I Have an H27a I just got back from the machine shop. Had a 3 angle valve job done, bored the cylinders a little, best thing I did was spend a little extra to Have a race shop balance the rotating assembly. It's all going back into an XL7 ive been stripping and I still haven't decided exactly what to do with it. I'd like AWD. I don't know yet.
