New mount for the E-Throttle body
The blade opens all the way but it is TIGHT
Pedal rides high and wobbles a little bit but should work for now if I don't have time to remake it.

Got the wiring harness laid out on the engine. Just trying to get the branches paired up. Also pulled like 12 feet of wires for the throttle pedal following the original throttle cable routing under the car. Used split loom for the first time. I really need to get a tool to make putting wires inside the loom.
Last of the wires pulled. The wires are somewhat paired up. I am planning on starting to terminate the harness tonight on a table.
Call me the Terminator!
I started mapping out the ECU plugs and terminating wires last night. The wire I chose to run several things (trailer wiring kit cause it was cheapish and available) is too thick to fit in the plug so I will have to switch all of those wiress (TB, coil signal, and injector ground).
Air temp sensor wiring. This will be in the final elbow before the intake.
Knock sensor wiring. I haven't seen much on whether this HAS to be shielded like the original knock sensor so this may need to be redone. Once the supercharger is reinstalled, I cannot get this off though.
Rats nest, you can see my trailer wiring.
One thing that I am worried about is how to wire the Main Circuit Relay that appears to act as the fuel pump relay. It has a wire that went to the AFM which is not there any more. I suspect that this wire needs to go to the ECU fuel pump activation pin.
In reply to singleslammer :
I think you're right about the relay. Lot of those old air door afms would cut power to the relay if no airflow was present.
If you have a diagram of the relay circuit I can confirm quickly.
Lots happened yesterday. Wiring harness roughed into place. Will need to add loom and do cable management once it is running. Car fired on starter fluid but I am getting a engine position error so I don't think the injectors are running due to that. More work today. Hopefully I will get it to idle today.
I got the timing set to zero, found out how to adjust the injector profiles, and got a cough! Need the figure why the pedal is showing .32 v at 0 and 100 percent. It was a big moment though!
Pedal issue soved but the throttle body appears to have a faulty TPS. Finding one in a yard locally hasn't panned out so I had to order a new one from Toyota ($350) to make sure I have one for next week. I also ordered one from a yard that will hopefully come in soon so I can take the new one back before I have to leave for Florida.
It's alive!!
I was 360 degrees out. Fired right up and idled poorly around 2k rpms. I'm a happy camper.
Lots happening. Idles okay now. Found an issue where the throttle body was only getting 5v instead of the 12v needed to drive the motors. It won't rev but I am working on that. Mostly today will be about packing but I am really hoping that I can get the car to driver on the trailer.
See you all on Friday!
I forgot to do an update.
After some parking lot and autocross tuning, I was able to use some broad tuning with the cold start table to adjust fueling and timing. Still have a lot of work for driveability but it starts up somewhat easily and drives okay with AFRs in the 10-12 range. Seems safe for the moment.
The MR2 made it around the autocross and drag strip at the Challenge. I couldn't keep idler pulleys on it though so it saw 240F a couple of times until I realized that I had lost the belt again. Doesn't seem hurt though.
Got it home and finally got a little time/motivation to investigate. Looks likely that the aftermarket water pump pulley wasn't in line with the crank and supercharger pulleys. Replaced it with the factory pulley and it seems good. Need a shorter belt long term though.
Got the MR2 out for a few minutes today. It sounds great! So much supercharger whine now. There is definitely an issue with some of the motor mounts though. When I shift there is noticeable movement in the engine. It might be something else but there is something serious going on back there. Good news though, it managed to keep the belts on.
Tried to go to Cars and Coffee yesterday but it wouldn't start. Later, I figured out the it was a bad battery. $60 and trip to Wally World (they didn't take my core which was weird) and I am back on the road. Put 50 miles on her yesterday doing some data logging. Everything stayed pretty happy. Put base advance up to 18 degrees. I think it needs a bit more still though.
