I always think of NYG as one of "the" definitive colors for first generation Neons, even if it's a rare one. Neons should be neon colored, no? Nice to see one getting restored.

I have been meaning to post some updates to the forum with progress on the car. Finally had an opportunity to sit down and get some photos uploaded. Was going to start reassembling the interior after paint and noticed how awful (rusty) the drip rails looked...
That would just not suffice. So I pulled the drip rails, cleaned them up, and add some fresh paint. What a difference it made!
I added cleaned up and resinstalled the B pillars as well as the rear speakers, rear deck, interior quarterpanel plastic, and headliner... It's starting to look like a car again.
I will try to avoid so long between update posts. Next up is reinstallation of the weatherstripping, dash cover, and A pillar covers. Enjoy!
I have made a lot of progress on the car over the past month or so. Most of it has been little things but I did have the wheels powdercoated and they turned out great!
Had the local Les Schawb switch them out for the steelies and it makes a huge difference.
I have a few more things to do and the car is for the most part complete. I will continue to post updates as I get more things complete. I do have the passenger side Pentastar that I need to add to the fender. I am also on the lookout for Neon trunk badging and a Plymouth hood emblem. More to come!
