The van is back with its new 5.4 in it, strong and hauls, it may (or may not) have topped the ton today.
Does anybody know of any headers for the E150 with mod engines

When I had my '90 5.0, I couldn't find van headers at all. My only hope was that truck 'shorty' headers might work.

That sounds great! What did you cram in there to get that sound out of a van? I wouldn't mind punching up the sound of the 5.4 in mine and it just so happens that a small hunk of the exhaust just fell off not too long ago so I've got to do something with it...
Changed the stock muffler for a Magna Flow, and freed up the flow with a straight pipe, simple and effective, there are no headers available for these.
Ordered Bilsteins all round, front sway bar bushings, rear shackles, rear forward bushings.
Not all arrived in time but we went ahead and installed the rear shocks, front sway bar bushing and adjusted then repacked the front wheel bearings.
Now when the rest of the parts arrive we can do the rest.
The steering improvement is already substantial
Best mod I did to my '03 E150 was a set of Hellwig anti-sway bars and urethane bushings for the front suspension.
Went to a Hellwig front bar as suggested above, installed new rear spring shackles, bushings and new front stay rod bushings.
We changed out the rear hitch plug to a seven pin.
Also fixed the heater blend door and did a transmission filter and fluid swap.
Still waiting on the front Bilsteins though.
Final touch to the exhaust
Did the trip to the Challenge with no fuss
Some time spent on the van has made it a much nicer driver, fresh plugs, found some COP issues, one injector had 2 gaskets, one was never correctly attached, led to much better drivability and no more stuttering. Fresh rotors and pads on front and a rebuilt steering box.
Still one of my favorite vehicles to drive.
Awesome, our brother from the same mother. :) We've got a 2006 black Chateau as well, but the E350 V10 version. Best tow beast ever.
I would really like a Powerstroke, with a 4x4 conversion. Hen's teeth but what an amazing van that would be.
