The beach and chrome don't play well.

I used one of these on the V8 Hijet.  Worked so well that I am using one on the the rat rod.  Also tucking a K&N filter down a bit to try and get it away from the heat.

Nothing new on the rat rod, just driving it and enjoying it!  Unfortunately, there has been a rash of vehicle thefts in the area, so...

Hopefully this will keep it in the parking lot overnight!

We live in a (very  moist) South Coastal town in Massachusetts, about a mike up from Plymouth Rock. When they get like that, we just wire brush them down, a quick spray with rust converter,  and hit them with Krylon Wrinkle Black, comes out looking GREAT. An alternative is Rustoleum Hammertone silver or gray.
