Your car looked awesome at the Challenge, and I have a soft spot for the 'Four Eyes" Fox Body 'Stangs. Nice job with the awards! It was really working for you guys this year.

Thank you for exposing me to the world of Little Kings BTW... now I know, and knowing is half the battle.

Post $2013 update,

Engine is out, engine bay is stripped down to bare metal, time to patch some holes. Have you ever seen how many small OEM holes are in the Fox engine bay.

Located a fuel cell, replacing the stock tank and upgrading the fuel lines to a larger diameter.

Engine is torn down, it has been revealing, the engine is a poorly rebuilt 351, not a 408 as advertised. It had problems at the challenge, dumping oil out the drivers side and a tic in the bottom end.

The engine is getting rebuilt from scratch now we know what we are dealing with.

Block was a 74, found a few issues with the updates done by the builder.

Block had a crack in it as well.

How could blocking the oil galleys be a problem?

It was the engine that was in the car, the PO claimed it had all sorts of good parts in it but I always had my doubts, seems I was on the right track.

It makes our results even better IMHO, 13.306 with a badly wounded engine is pretty decent.

The roller lifter retrofit probably isnt a big deal. Its pretty common to install stand pipes in the holes in the middle of the lifter valley on SBC builds to prevent excess oil from getting on the cam, and just having the front and rear holes to drain all oil back to the bottom.

I know the super stock guys do it and with other oil control things it can free up a few horses.

If you dont want to run a spider and dogbone setup, you can just run link bar lifters but they are cheap

i see plates on the car, does it ever see street miles? weird seeing a mustang thats fairly local to me that ive never seen in person.
