15" dmacks take scary loads of pressure. 14" dmacks are not bad.

Grand Cherokee wheels on a 'Yota! I love it!
Are those Mark VII BBS wheels in the left rear corner of the bed?
In reply to moxnix:
You're not kidding- I had to leave my regular tire place and take them to a place that does heavy truck tires just to get enough pressure!
In reply to The_Jed:
The mesh wheels are BBS, but they came on RX7 convertibles- I think mk VII wheels have too little offset for FC use.

Observations: -I need to go a few degrees colder on the fan thermoswitch, it gets pretty hot before they kick on. -I need to seal the roof/roof vent/other stuff better. Any hints from the FC experts on where I might find leaks to the interior? -The defroster/defogger isn't very good at its' job. -The suspension ROCKS, stuff that has my truck bottoming out is barely noticeable in this thing.

I was thinking the same thing! I'm down in York, just 16 miles from the PA/MD line.
Where do you plan to run this? I have thought many times about building an Audi rally car, but haven't seen much in the way of places to run it.
Events tentatively planned for this year:
Waste Management Winter Rally- 2/20 Wellsboro, PA
Empire State Performance Rally Tarmac (if it happens)- 4/? Narrowsburg, NY
Hyperfest RallySprint- 5/21 Danville, VA
Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally(maybe)- 6/3-4 Wellsboro, PA
Rally West Virginia (if it happens)- 7/? Snowshoe, WV
Black River Stages- 9/16 Harrisville, NY
Empire State Performance Rally Gravel- 10/28 Narrowburg, NY
DC Region SCCA also has a solid RallyX program that runs in Frostburg MD, and Blue Mountain SCCA runs RallyXs in Kempton PA occasionally.
Intersting, maybe I should go ahead and build one. There are a few more semi-local events than I thought.
For rallycross there are also 3-4 events in Harrisburg over summer.
Hey is the RX7 going to make it out to Kempton in 2 weeks?

Pretty sure I've been reading that ESPR Tarmac was just cancelled for sure.

You forgot - Rally of the Tall Pines - Bancroft, ON - Nov 25/26, 2016
Really - get up here!
In reply to NGTD:
Huh, Bancroft is only 7 hours from here- so closer than, say, Magnum Opus in Michigan. I have plenty of time to think about it, but thanks for the heads up! I hadn't been looking at Canadian events at all.
In reply to Mad_Ratel:
Maybe if I'm really itching for something else- I did it last year (RallyMoto) and it's a long way for a single day event.

Ill be looking for you at hyperfest, also if you need some emergency wrenching we are only about 2 or so hours from danville.

I am biased, since I have been volunteering for 16 years and am heavily involved with running it (last year Chief Safety Officer and Driver Course Car - 000B), but many say that it is one of the best organized rallies in North America.
When I looked at where you were I realized that it was not that far.
It is a tough rally. One full day - starts around 9 am and ends around 9:30-10 pm.
For the first time I would run the Regional - less miles but still a challenging day. Less $$$'s too.
I've put about 160 miles on the car since getting it inspected- in the last 30 or so, it has had an occasional miss around 6k rpm... I'm thinking the fuel filter is full of whatever poop was in the tank, so I ordered a new filter/strainer combo.
Did some practicing with GF/codriver this weekend. We wrote stage notes for a local road yesterday, and participated in a road rally today.
Backroad stage notes:
-Went very well once we got on pace (consistent note delivery, good communication)
-We won't need transit headsets, the car is loud but not impossible to talk over
-The car flys quite well
Road Rally:
-Also went very well (2nd in novice, 3rd overall)
-This was not a TSD like I had hoped... more like a silly, no pressure scavenger hunt with very little need for any sort of pacing it was fine, just not what we were looking for.
-The "Rally Tripmeter" app seems to work well, although this wasn't a very rigorous test.
