So it's basically done. I still need to oil the handle and polish. Pictures coming soon.

I bought a wood burning kit and wanted to burn the date of the wedding into the knife, but wow that's harder than I thought.

It's Done!

I'm happy with the project. Overall it came out very nice and I learned a great deal along the way. I cannot wait to give this to my friend, my best man at my wedding, on his wedding day.

Turned out VERY nice!

Haven't built any since my teens when I was super impressed with the cheapo Green River Blades from the Muzzle Loading Fleamarket.
