The Eyes on Design show is really top notch. Phenomenal location, immaculate grounds, and amazing cars.
Just a few examples. Good show and good time with Dad today.

Thank you Brian-for the compliment on the car and for your message. Happy Father's Day to you!
Fra-gee-lee? Eye-tal-yen?
Mare-cee is French, right? So is Ooo-LA-LA!
Chrome plated jewelry arrived as part of a comprehensive rear lighting revision project. This is the single largest spend on purely form over function on the car!
I'd been contemplating LED lighting upgrades front and rear and ordered headlights (Dapper Lighting LED projectors) and a programmable sequential panel LED lighting system (Easy Performance). I had an extra set of tail lights I bought years back and broke them down for cleaning and modifications. I polished the 56 year old plastic lenses. They need a little more work on some deeper scratches. As I looked at the pitted flaky old grilles I thought they would detract from the whole vibe. These parts are reproduced and I ordered a pair from NPD. After a week with no update on shipping I found out they cancelled the order and they didn't expect more. Dang. A Cougar specialist had them but I couldn't stomach their price. Quick search and I found a Canadian place that had them advertised. I'd not heard of them so I called in and verified stock on hand (not drop shipping) and was instructed to place an order via their website site. No problemo. Put them in the cart and then spotted a 20% off coupon plus free UPS freight. Alright alright alright! I got them yesterday and they are beautiful!
This week I'll work on getting the whole assemblies built and ready for swap.
I was in Angry's 'hood on the way to NPD and thought of crashing in but I see in his MonZora post that his balls were hot so I'm glad I kept going.

I'm much nicer to be around when my balls are cool. Good to see the progress on making the Cougar nicer, vs making it run/drive. I hope to reach that level someday. 🤘🏻🤣
Cool balls are happy balls hence their external mounting configuration from the factory.
I love driving this thing now. Took the on-ramp from Michigan Avenue to 275N (reference for Angry), an uphill 270 deg sweeper. Popped it in 2nd picked my line and just rolled on the throttle. Suspension set, tires bit and listened to the Cleveland add rpm. Very nice!

SCHWING!!!
Last night I dive in to cleaning up the TL lenses. I had done a complete wash and polish with paint polish previously but noted some deeper scratches in a few spots. The shiny new grilles made the scratches pop out that much more. I did a 400/600/1000/2000 grit sanding regimen then went back to the paint polish and get them ready for a final wash and inspection today.
