If I were to have that car, I would then try to find a GTV6 or Milano (or even an Alfetta) to put the engine into. The 164 isn't exactly a good handler, nor is it light.
That being said- have fun, good luck! I have friends who are doing Lemons with a Milano, and I knwo the chicago team that won a Lemons race with a gtv6.
There was the lancia stratos inspired Alfa 164 powered Fiat. That solved the lightness issue, not sure about the handling.
I've seen video of that project... handling was not one of its stronger points
