The car was originally my grandfathers and sat for many years behind his shop. I was able to get is in 2020, 2 years after my grandfather unfortunately passed. Bought the car with no real plan.
Now the car has a set of watanabes, Honda k20, Miata 5 speed, wilwood brakes up front, coilover conversion, rear disk conversion, and working on the rear cantilever suspension now.

Curious what's going on with that LH frame rail. Are you notching it to clear the alternator? How does that affect your subframe mount bolts?

I was actually able to get it just high enough to clear the frame. Considering a removable panel on the inner fender though for access incase I need to replace it on a roadtrip

Still a work in progress but a lot of loose ends being tied up right now. Definitely will be sharing more photos and have a good bit on my Instagram already @mr.byoung
Rear suspension getting all tacked up now that brackets arrived. Need to cut out the rest of the trunk floor and build mounts for my fuel cell so that will be next on the list.
