I gave up trying to post photos to the forum after the change to the format.  I have been unable to insert a photo and then preview it prior to posting. I have finally caught up with life a bit and have some time to try to figure it out.  If anyone has a few minutes, please respond here and tell me what you see.  Also, if you know a way to preview, please clue me in.  I am using a mac.  Thanks so much!

I posted a photo....all I see in this window (in the blank space above) is a blinking cursor with no other information. This is what I saw when I loaded the photo with BB code from Flickr

I can see the photo in my post. My confusion is that during the posting process, it appears that nothing is loaded or happening and no opportunity to preview.  Does anyone know if this in normal? With only a blinking cursor to go by, how do you know where the photo actually is in the post.  How do you know where to place the text etc.  Thanks

If you aren't publishing on multiple sites, try the "upload photo" option. I've been able to preview that way (on Macbook and Android - but both using Chrome browser)

Thanks, I will try it.  So you are not able to preview either?

So we scabbed together some driveshaft parts to utilize the stock datsun rear axle for the time being.  My friend that owns the car has been driving around his neighborhood doing tuning and finishing up lights, horn etc.  After a few partial throttle bursts, the stock rear is complaining loudly with very odd noises.  That said, we made a trip to the Pick a Part and picked up a Ford 8.8 with trak lok and 3.73 gears along with an extra short side axle shaft.  Narrowing is in process!

The Datsun Wagon is back at its owners house. He posted a video of the progress to date

The aftermarket front crossmember fits the car perfectly, but not the oil pan on the ls engine. We had to move one of the rack mounts over for clearance.

So this was a after market “stock demensions” 510 crossmember? Did you just hand make the motor mounts out of plate steel? I missed that in the video of it explained that, also wondered if the gas tank was from a different vehicle or a cell? Really cool build.

Yes, stock dims crossmember with fabbed mounts. The stock tank could have worked but was junk. There is a fuel in its place under the rear floor.

The Datsun is back home with its owner and the 8.8" rear is in the car.  Link below is for his video of some WOT launches!
