I would not have resisted the urge to name him Billy.

I would have resisted Ein.  I think half of all Corgis named in the last 20 years were named Ein.

Yeah Colin wanted to go Ein. He looks like an Arthur to me.

In reply to Patrick :

I just showed the pics to Jane. She exclaimed, "that's a Corgi!"

She's fascinated by them and wants one, even though she has Piper (short for bagpiper.)

In that upside down picture, Arthur is beautiful!

The clue is bagpiper... Scottish Terrier

I could have never imagined how hard it is to get a good photograph of an all black dog

I knew where you were going with Piper but the cairns are a scottish breed too. Definitely hard to get a shot of an all black mop!

Somehow I think of my friend's English Bulldog who was very enthusiastic about meeting people.  He wasn't a bagpiper so much as a bagpuncher, or bagbulldozer.

80 pounds of muscular excited inertia.

arthur is getting big.

we got covid for christmas, what a E36 M3ty gift.

been driving the gmt400 from dculberson, it's a really good truck. Will probably keep driving it till tax time because it's keeping salt off my ram, which needs some maintenance.

beginning of december did a fuel pump in my sister's free taurus. I cut a hole under the back seat big enough go get the module out, bought a random delphi module at auction for $4 and swapped the new pump into the taurus module because all electric pumps are basically the same in vehicle specific modules and got her back on the road cheap.

got a pneumatic oil changer and honestly where has it been all my life! The charger is going to be an up top oil change car now and I won't have to remove the undertray anymore.

avalon finally has a clunk after 9k miles of uneventful driving. Think sway bar end link up front, it can wait till it is warmer and i get a deal on some. Sitting at 254k and needs an oil change.

Someone here should buy the 57 chevy so I don't have to advertise it to morons.

Arthur has doubled in weight since his first vet visit.

back at ebay, listed 50 or so things this week. Have done a lot of organizing, got a rolling tire rack today that can hold a dozen, which opens up some room.

getting ready to get back on Warren's Corolla next week as Bradley is returning from a couple months in the southwest and needs some garage time. I do too, so it's a good thing to have one of my partners in crime back home

Before people start asking:

Yes that's what you think it is, yes their gantry was sketchy as berkeley, yes the whole package(engine/accessories/starter/harness/ecm) has a challenge budget hit of under $300, no you can't know what it's going in.

In not silly guessing game related news I am almost ready to start building an office in the garage for ebay listing/shipping. Cleared out a corner, the Virago is no longer hanging in the rafters, and I have a stack of lumber

the bolt bin will move as will the random stuff on the wall because that will all be inside the office. We have lots of inventory to list and not having a streamlined operation is hampering my ability to be consistent, and that's what we need right now is consistency and a simple operation. We have the auction stuff down, logistically we are great there. It's what happens when we return with a load that is the problem. We were hustling through the backlog but then got a contracting job for a few weeks and have another in May so we are using from now till then to streamline the business operation and get some neglected things taken care of around the house.
