Actually not as bad as I thought. I saw these lower rear quarter panels and assumed the worst on the shock towers.
But the shock towers look good in the wheel wells.
Quick look behind the panels in the hatch area doesn't look bad.

Naw that's way too much work for something I don't want. Honestly I was hoping this would be a rusty POS that I wouldn't feel guilty about parting out. I really don't want to part out something that could be saved and loved. What I think I'll do is offer it up to GRM people (vetted after the Saab incident) for the $1500 I have in it. If no one wants it then I'll move on to plan C.

Stampie has a trans, John has a spare head. Don't think cost would work though.

John has a whole good engine. Assuming trans is good it needs some brake stuff and clutch hydraulics from what I know. I think it could be under Challenge budget. Seller claimed under 3k on the clutch. There's a clutch alignment tool in the back so that fits.

This car complete has no place in my yard long term. Cool car but I walked out to the drive today and looked it. I didn't get that warm fuzzy of "Oh that moves me." Cool car but not for me. As I said it's a parts car to me unless someone wants to save it. If that means parking lot build and it moves on after Challenge then I'm down for that.
I got an offer on the car today at what I would consider the GRM price. Think I'll have to charge storage on it if I decide to take the offer. I got some story about 1uz swap blah blah blah.
