Ouch.
Glad to see you and the machine are okay.
You've got to be pretty stoked though with 4 rolls, landing nicely on your wheels and the whole thing caught on the live stream though!

lol! Definitely could have been worse!
lil update. I took the machine for a loop around the block and the rear felt loose as hell! Found a sway bar link bolt had come loose. I have a feeling that contributed significantly.
We did another off road excursion last weekend at the local spot. A couple of the boys decided to set up a hog roast. Good times! In the jeep, I came over a crest and found a pretty deep washout before I was able to see it at all. We were able to winch it out using a tree and pulley to get the angle right. No damage to the Jeep. 👍
I ordered some fabric to get the 914 seats redone, and figured now's the time to add some deeper bolsters to the sides.
the autocross at the end of January had a bit of rain, so I took the Boxster instead of the 914. It did well, but it's no engine-swapped Spyder kart on slicks. 😂
about a week ago, I walked into the garage to find a puddle of brake fluid under the right rear of the 914, so it got a pair of rebuilt calipers.
I've got a big weekend planned. Firm rallyx Saturday, demolition derby "national championship" in Arcadia Saturday night (as a spectator) and a PCA autocross in the 914 Sunday.
I'm excited to see how the seat recovery goes. Are you going to do this yourself or take to an upholstery shop?

I was recommended a local one-man shop. I chatted with him for quite a while about exactly what I was looking for. He gave me a reasonable quote, so he's got the job.
I'd love to have the seats back before the autocross but I told him not to rush, so odds are slim. So I've got a 914 seat mounted temporarily that's rough shape and brown.
A lil progress pic from the upholstery guy. I think he's got two ass cushions in this photo, so not exactly the right orientation, but you get the idea. Also, material is not finished on the back, so not final fit and finish here, just basic concept. And a pic of the added bolster attached to the seat frame. Ready by Friday. Maybe. 🤞

Added bolster is from Patrick Motorsports. Bolsters. Not cheap. But cheaper than full upgraded seat options.
