:) Moonshine is getting scarce, everyone making hand sanitizer
Some videos that I thought you might find interesting. This is a drive down a back country road in North Texas.

Grew up in Pleasant Ridge, went to Powell HS. Many lifelong friends still live there
Being somewhat of an old school freak I decided to find a pair of louvered engine side panels for the Hot Rod. I had the good fortune of running into Don Ross a legendary fabricator who has done quite a few restoration of 1960's era Top Fuel cars. Don agreed to produce me a set of panels. Over the next few months I would bring the hot rod by and Don would work on fitment, fabrication, and later alignment. Yesterday, we finished the initial stage of the Panels. Watching Don work and seeing what he did was about as effective of a master degree level course as I imagine you can get in metal working. Watching what Don did with the mild steel panel was truly amazing. I will probably never look at a piece of mild steel again in the same manner.
Stretching her legs out as James Taylor would say, "On a Country Road" It was really hard to get that fly to stand still while I glued his feet to the windshield.
Very cool, those Texas farm roads are fun for sure. The car looks and sounds awesome! Are the louvered engine bay covers still a work in process?
They are in the body shop right now. They were crafted from mild steel and the shop is going to protect them and shoot them green, not necessarily matching, until this winter when we can get into serious finishing and paint matching.
