The car in out fleet the longest is our bought new 2000 ZX3.  My wie ordered it back in January of 2000 with plans in mind of a Daily driver with weekend cone killing.  You know how it is and autocross is just a gateway drug to track days.

It has an autopower 4 point roll bar, G-Force 5 point harness, Eibach sway bars, Progress springs, Koni Adjustables, Hawk HPS front pads, and a Magnaflow exhaust and Kuhmo  v700's.  She would do her weekly 300 mile commuting duty, then run a track event, and back to commuting duty.  It never once missed a beat.

Fast forward a few years, and we are no longer doing track days.  The car gets detailed and happily lives in the garage and taken out on nice summer weekends only now.

How does this get to an SVT?  Well, she decided the car needed a few more options with power windows being number 1 on the list. The best way to do this is with a parts car, so the search began.  In the search we found not 1 but 2 SVT's.  A deal was made.  Now we just had to figure out how to get 2 cars home from 3.5 hours away........

Now with pictures being downloaded, the saga will continue soon

The trip was made out for the first car, we made it 3.5 hours out, but 3+ hours back, a trailer tire decided it was too good to hold air.

There was just 10 miles left to get home. The car was moved on the trailer to adjust the weight, the offending tire was removed, and we rolled slowly home.

This is the running parts car, but thanks to Vermont road salt, the unibody was swiss cheeze.

Four new trailer tires were purchased, and we headed out the next weekend to get the clean non runner

Now to disassemble the parts car, make the wife happy and mod her car, then I can finally move onto the build
