Regardless, I did some fiddling with the van today and things don't look good. The interior is just not big enough. I was hoping the bikes would fit across width-wise with the front wheel off. Nope.  

I can totally relate to the shortage of space, even in a high top equipped, extended body Ford Van.  Hence my box van as you know.  Even the Grumman is turning out to be shorter on space than I had imagined it would be.  

Certainly not free, but for those who already have a tractor with a 3-point hitch, a PTO-driven generator can make a lot of sense. I recommended that for back-up generator use, for about 30 sites that already had tractors.
