I'm not too far from the Cape. There are bogs everywhere! Ocean Spray is HQed in my town. wink

In reply to Tony Sestito : I recognize that filler neck issue! I was unable to find the right hoses for front and rear tanks. Hard piped it 90% of the way, so now there is just a small chunk of straight hose needed. Hoping that future proofed any further repairs in that area.

I don't think they make a replacement hose for these trucks that's an exact fit. The closest I came to finding one (even though I didn't end up needing one) was out of an 80's Jeep Grand Wagoneer. They have a really long hose, so as long as the diameter is close, it's probably a cut-to-fit situation. You could always cut the one you have and space it with some steel pipe. Just make sure whatever you use is a fuel-safe material.

Wow, has it really been over 4 months since I posted in here?

The truck officially hit 6 years of ownership back in January. I've been driving it less, mainly because I haven't had a ton of need to do Truck Stuff with my home construction now complete, but I do try and take it out at least weekly. I did the math, and I only drove it 800 miles last year.

Yesterday, I took it out to run some errands, and when I got in the truck, I noticed that the rear view mirror was on the seat and not on the windshield. I think this is the 3rd time it's fallen off since I've had the truck. I'll get that glued up there yet again.

Overall, it still needs all the same stuff: floors, interior, header gaskets, etc. Adding to that list is some bodywork and potentially a cheap paint job. The hood is especially getting bad and it's to the point where it's less patina and more rattiness. I might spray it flat black for now or lay down some epoxy primer to preserve what's left of the metal there. I'd also like to level out the rear ride height or just cheat and throw some body spacers under the driver's side of the bed. It's also got a rattle or looseness up front I really should investigate soon. It could just be the lack of floor pans. laugh

I still love the stupid truck, either way.
