Wow. That's a completely nutty find at that price. Congrats!

Electric windows and a dead battery combined with a battery in the frunk but the interior pull release doesn't seem to open the frunk
Exactly. Hopefully it's just jammed for sitting for years and not because something is broken, the latch doesn't exactly feel like there's a lot of tension

Gutting it is definitely on the table, there was about 6 inches of pine needles on the driver seat when I got there and standing water in the door pockets
Bedliner everything and new lighter seats could work well

I'm stunned myself.
I mean, don't get me wrong the interior sucks, the engine could suck but $100 is decent dinner at a good restaurant or weird fuzz pedals pricing.

Yeah, I'd get the frunk open, minimally put a charger on it and then roll the window up. Or I'd pop off the door panel and push the window up manually. Or I'd park the car indoors. I guess my point is I'd never leave a car outside with it open to the elements.
Frunk is open! Sadly the windows would not go up but both don't work so I'm thinking like a fuse or something.
Engine is not seized as well, I was worried since the dipstick has almost no oil on it but it bumped over. The flippy headlights work which is the main feature my wife loves, apparently flippy headlights are the best
She is eyeing it and muttering something about maybe it being her challenge entry so there is cause for concern .

I don't disagree at all
Of course it's also not inside, the windows are still down but I have a huge tarp over it which is sort of progress, right?
Rust free 2nd GEN Shell's are going for around $2k nowadays in the MR2 community (Thanks K-Swap Kids), regardless of issues this was a great deal. 5SFE's aren't horrible engines, you just can't do much to them. In the NA MR2 it's actually quite fun.
The windows not going up is usually a window switch, ($50-75 depending on who's doing the part out. Usually.) but it could also be the wiring going into the door broke. That was the issue with one of my cars.
