Haven't made much progress on the build.

• Mechanicals are done
• Body needs to be done
• Need to order fenders
• Need to do bed
• Need to do glass. 

Ran into this person today. Chatted him up a bit. His truck is my end goal. Gave myself 6 months to finisih it

Finally some progress. Ordered all parts. Hope to get it done in few weeks 

• new 11 gallon gas tank to relocate tank further back 
• new single piece power windows 
• shave the steering rack to move it up 
• new front coilovers to lift it slightly 
• New wooden bed 
• new tailgate 
• couple of suspension and body parts 

if I can get that done in few weeks (while I wait for all back ordered bronco parts for the other build) - I can scoot this over to paint

I really want to keep the patina. Wife would love it if I did. Just can't visualize what colour to paint it, that work with keeping the patina.

Thank you. Initial thought was doing the period correct mellow yellow or a pistaschio green like on the hood. 

The big dollar cars are not the red/yellows any more (as old AARP geezers are dying off). Everyone is doing the nardo gray audi/porsche cement toyota colors. So debating which way to go with. 

Hmm - I think a bright white or chill cement gray would be amazing.  I'm sure there are a ton of factory colors that would also be cool but not my area of expertise.

Agree. Leaning towards what you said actually 

raised the suspension a bit 

turned white walls inside 

added tailgate 

had to swap paintshop - hes too busy with 4 of my other projects. 

hoping would have it back in 6 weeks
