That's some damn nice work, man.

Damn, I don't think you ever asked. I gave them away when I sold the mountain of sawblades.

Awsome! lol

Oh well. Snooze ya lose. Keep up the cool stuff.

If my headers turn out good enough, I'll sell you the C4 LT1 shorty headers that are supposed to be direct bolt-in replacement for the manifolds. For now, I need to keep them as my backup plan because I know they'll work for me.
10-Jan-2021: still cutting and prepping tube bits:
and using some pool vacuum hoses to figure out primary tube routing:
my choice of tri-Y versus 4-into-1 makes the routing a little more challenging, but I'll get it right.

I saw this goose today. It's still an shiny happy person and says you need to work on your car more.

Sounds like a plan.

Funny but I saw shiny happy person goose again today. I took a picture right as he said that Monzora wouldn't make it by 2025.
Nothing cool to report lately. Just figuring out how to package the primary tubes for the headers I'm building. Until I have all the primaries figured out and start tacking them together, there's nothing to show.

If you don't pick up the pace, I'm going to get the TR4 swapped before you take your first drive.
I'm out in the garage hitting it hard tonight
Ok, so I made some progress tonight. I'm building tri-Y aka 4-2-1 headers, so it's OK that the primaries don't end up in a nice square collector arrangement.
This is the passenger side, pipes go up and back. On this side, the paired primaries are 2+4 and 6+8.
The drivers side will also be up and back, but the pairings are 1+5 and 3+7, so not mirror images. I have a little bit of tweaking to do to dial in the lengths and tighten up the joints. I'm aiming for 17" primaries, 17" secondaries. Tubes are 1-1/2" off the port. I might step them at half-length to 1-5/8" since I cut up another set and scavenged the pipes for just this purpose. Then the secondaries will be 1-7/8, and where they meet I'll choke down to 2-1/8" before opening up to 2-3/4" to match the C7 Z06 mufflers I got on CL last year. It's not perfect, but it's perfect enough. And it's progress!
