I would like to do this also. Is there a manual printed on dead trees that I can hold in my grubby hands? I am having difficulty even comprehending what you guys are saying, but enjoying the 1 in 100 references that doesn't impact on the surface of my all too thick cranium. Thanks for the education.
I'll be quiet so you smart folks can get back to your conversation.

If you're asking what RTFM means, RTFM is an old saying for "read the f***ing manual" lol. I try not to ask a lot of questions on megasquirt without reading the manual first, because it's incredibly huge and comprehensive. 99% of the time if you go on the megasquirt forums and ask a question that's covered in it, you'll get, "Did you read the manual?"

You'll have to print your own, sorry.
There some great docs on the Diyautotune.com site that you can read or print and read.

OH you meant the megasquirt manual, sorry, i wasn't sure what you meant. I see stefan linked it up above.
Took some pics, phone dead. But the megasquirt is prepped.

Oh, and... interesting note for anyone with megasquirt 3. I got the USB connection working. So apparently they use an onboard USB to serial adapter and my laptop didn't have the drivers. I downloaded them to a folder on my drive, told it to install them. Restarted, and it showed it as a serial connection missing drivers, so I went and told it to update the drivers (same folder), restarted again and boom... USB connection works. No more using the crappy beaten up serial cable I had.
Ignition on MSD6AL is tested and working tonight. SO I am good to go on the megasquirt and ignition. Hot damn. Just waiting on the machinist and we are ready for dyno day!
WOOHOO! What a great feeling! I'm excited to keep following, and as an Oregonian, excited to see this beast in person someday!

For some reason I imagined someone saying this in the voice of doctor lexus.

Ohhhh good idea! I'm curious myself. I'll make this even more interesting. I've got some of the old pistons laying around. I'm keeping a few of them as a reminder of just how much crap I've gone through for this car.
I'll give away one of my pistons and a $20 amazon giftcard to whomever guesses the closest. Everyone gets 1 guess, and no guessing duplicate numbers, once that number is taken, it's reserved. Hehe.
This is initial dyno rough tune, right? I'll go.. 292 for initial rough. Bet you can hit mid 300's after tune.
I'm in at 290 and I'm SOOOO happy I moved to Oregon. I'm in Salem, need help with any heavy lifting?
