Norma 1966 Galaxie

Got the tank ready to go. Got the bottom flange test fitted. 

Then got derailed real quick when the in tank fuel pump nipple broke...berk 

Will have to see what they can do for me in the morning.

Only need to get the wiring done 

Been getting little things done without much big progress. Went to go put new radiator together today. Complete fail. Gonna bring it into work tomorrow and see what someone can do for me on the water jet. Needs to loose a 1/8 on both sides

I think I’m going to need a moment alone.

Gas tank will get a fresh coat of paint tonight and be ready for install.

That is thexy!  I can't wait for your feedback on this style of clutch.  I'm thinking of something very similar for my car this fall.

Tanks got a coat on it. Column is ready to go back in.

Spark plugs wires are ran and crimped. Have the column mostly back together. 

The holes are drilled for the radiator shroud, just need bolts and that can be installed.

Curious to see how the Fitech works for you.

Got the third peddle in. Still need to put the hydraulic clutch together but we are making progress. Been spending a lot of time imaging and working on hose routing to try and clean the motor bay up. Damn you Michael and your clean Miata engine bay!

Put a couple hours in today. Radiator is assembled. Now I’m running into clearance issues with idler arm on the serpentine conversion. 

I don’t know how I’m going to get around this one. The idler is hitting on the center of the passenger fan.

Can you use one lower profile fan and leave the other fan?

Here’s a picture of the interference. Got the radiator brackets moved and relocated. I think I’m gonna have to start looking for new lower profile fans.

Switching gears because I don’t want to compromise on the fans and don’t really want to deal with it. 

Clutch is together

Clutch is installed and torqued down. Need to get the starter and bellhousing going.

Got the wife's summer car stored. Need to get back to thrashing. Need to get the correct u bolts on order for the rear sway bar. Need to get the correct hose size for the filler neck so I can get the tank back up and ready for fuel lines.

Got the rear sway bar installed after finally getting the correct size u bolts figured out. 
Uninstalled the clutch to put in the block separator plate I forgot to put in. Flywheel is back in. Going to get the runout measured here over the next couple days.  Then I can check bell housing alignment.

Headers should be here early next week.

I need to do all the wiring. Which is not a super strong skillset of mine. My goal would be to fire before our kiddo is due. So Jan 16th is goal.

Not sure what you mean no home!

The tank filler neck defeated me a few pages ago. Solution was a reduced neck to the right o.d. that I needed. Still need to weld it up.
