Nice!
I still have the NV. I don't yet have a replacement engine for my Promaster project so decided to get rid of the dead VQ40. The appropriate way to do that is with my Green B3500. Some pallets are back there right now, but the engine should still fit no problem.
Going for one last ride.
$14 back into the budget. Mostly NV stuff minus the 1lb RO water holding tank.
I still have all the spares: coils, sensors etc from the dead engine. I will likely offer them to the new owner if they want them. I would like any spares but maybe I am not representative of normal buyers?
I saw a group of camper vans rolling on the highway just this morning and thought of this thread, ever sell?

NO. I still have this van!? I have had some interest including the operations manager of another beverage distributor. No one has come through with money though. I am actually considering keeping it for my stepson to caravan south this winter with me.
It's official: This van is sticking around. I listed it for sale in February and at some point last month I asked LuckyLady to drive it back from an informal sales lot. She was impressed by how it drives. We are keeping it.
Oh boy oh boy oh boy! This is on the marketplace and really gets me excited about a 4x4 conversion!
The front and rear axles are still available. The knuckles are gone, but those interchange with the NV anyway. 4ish hours away, but may be worth the drive. No XD trucks in the local yards.
Congrats? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I know it was to be a finance generator at one point. Is keeping it an acceptable outcome?

Profit was the plan. In the words of the great philosopher Mike Tyson "Everybody has a plan until you get punched in the face."
This situation isn't nearly as bad as all that. I ended up selling another van for more than the cost of the NV, so, while not the payday I hoped for, it is worth keeping and using for the time being. I also have a Promaster project ongoing so it is possible that one or the other will be sold in the foreseeable future. Right now it is nice to have a legal "big vehicle " again.
