Me too. And I wonder what caused the shift, why someone who was so involved in the community here and contributed to such a large degree just disappeared.

I've wondered the same many times.
His track walking podcast is going strong and includes some GRM members

I was just thinking about this thread the other day, in fact. This thread is why I started reading GRM, though I didn't register for the forum for some years later. Bummer that the legend behind this thread just vanished.
Almost four years ago when my son was born, my wife and I had a week long stay at the hospital. With plenty of content in this thread, I would read this thread when I had a moment to destress and not think about the situation at hand. This thread helped me a lot at that point in my life and I think I will remember it forever. Crazy to see it pop back up. I am listening to Seth's podcast that was posted as I write this.

I was just thinking about this a week or so ago too. I wonder how many owners this van has bankrupted by now?
I know Seth is deep into bikes. I just talked to him about his new Subaru the other day. He made a choice i'm thinking about.
Still around. Thanks for checking up on me everyone. I'm still racing tiny motorcycles and that uses up the mechanical part of my brain that wrenching on cars used to occupy. They're smaller and cheaper and it's nice. All of the Deucelings are off to school or living their lives away from home so Mrs. Deuce and I are hanging out with each other and going on more adventures. Doing the "what would you have done in your 20's if you didn't decide to have four kids" thing. It's fun. Still doing the podcast. Also fun. I can see coming back to cars sometime in the future when we move away from the motorcycle racing opportunities that I have here in Texas. Moving will be another big thing. Everyone here should keep being awesome, I check the forum from time to time, and y'all are still awesome, and that makes me happy.
